Daniel Cormier does not compete and Andy Hrovat is gone after the first round. Steve Mocco in for Bronze.
Ben Askren is out of the Olympics after going 1-1. Askren lost to the former world champion Cuban in straight periods. Doug Schwab is going for third in the second session of Freestyle Day 2. Schwab lost his first match to a Ukrainian who eventually carried Schwab through to the second session as that Ukrainian eventually made the finals.
Henry Cejudo is the 2008 55 kilo Olympic Champion!

Adam Wheeler wins a medal! Adam at 96 kg won a bronze medal for USA. The American team didnt have such a hot showing these Olympics after coming off a World Team title in 2007. Wheeler made sure to get at least a medal with a Bronze finish.
Swedish wrestler throws away Bronze medal. This guy was pissed off at a refs call and decided he didnt even want his medal.

Jake Deitchler had a tough draw as he lost to the Ukrainian to get in the Bronze medal match. The Ukranian eventually one the bronze. Deitchler outwreslted the Ukrainian. He scored the only offensive points of the match in the second period, but each period the Ukrainian won the black bag ball game and won each of his two periods on the criteria that he scored last. 1-1, 3-1, 1-1. Deitchler wrestled awesome and lost both his matches to the top meadlists.
TC Dantzler goes 0-1. Dantzler was eliminated from competition when he lost his first round bout and his competitor failed to make it to the finals.
