Dont forget Cunningham and Churella this weekend. All expectations are on Ben Askren's who won handily the 2008 US Open in April but Cunningham and Ryan churella have a shot as well. I like this article because it zeroes in on the motivation that drives these wrestlers and goes into both their stories. (Link)

I'm back from Russia, and armed with great action from Russian Nationals. Many great wrestling matches will be posted over the next few days.
Cool Article about Cael, I like how the writer bounces from his athletes to campers to Cael. (Link)
Interesting quote by Ben Askren: "Every match is just a match to me. That's why I'm a great competitor." 2004 Silver Medalist Jamil Kelly once told me that he wishes he didnt get caught up in the moment for his Gold Medal Match. The whole tournament he try to ignore the crowds the hype of the olympics but got a little caught up in the flair for the Olympic Finals. I think it is a similar train of thought that Ben looks to view his matches. Anyways here is an article about Ben Askren. (Link)
What are the odds that Jake Herbert becomes an Olympian for the USA at 84kg? What are the odds he wins a gold MEdal in China? Jake is a pure athlete and is fun to watch. Should be interesting to see if he can make a run at the trials. Here is an article about Jake Herbert. (Link)
