The Program - Iowa Hawkeyes pt. 1: 36 Down
The past two seasons the University of Iowa has found itself behind a Penn State program that is coming on strong. Cael Sanderson and the Penn State Nittany Lions have compiled a group of blue chip recruits in a strong state and are regarded by many as a school that could be on top for a while. The Iowa Hawkeyes have a long tradition of winning and here we get to see how the Tom Brands and Terry Brands are getting their Iowa wrestling team ready to get back on top.

There's something about Iowa...something that sets them apart from every single other program in the country. It's not just success that they're know for. It's a way of doing things at Iowa...doing things that other programs won't do...that allows them to stand alone. Tom and Terry Brands do not try to fit wrestlers into a specific mold. Rather, they try to hold each of their wrestlers to a specific standard. This is the reason why you see so many different wrestlers with so many different style become champions while wearing black and gold. In this episode, the series finale on the Hawkeyes, go behind the scenes to follow Matt McDonough as he breaks down his transformation in the Iowa room from high school wrestler to National Champion by his redshirt freshman year.
The Program - Dake Reveals How He Beats Taylor
There has never been a more heated rivalry in NCAA wrestling history than that between Kyle Dake and David Taylor. Dake came into this season a 3x NCAA Champion, one of the greatest college wrestlers of all time. Taylor came in an undefeated national champion and the 2012 Hodge Trophy Winner. After two razor-thin decisions, Dake sits at 2-0 vs. David Taylor. He knows this isn't enough. Everything comes down to NCAA's. The Program - Kyle Dake and Cornell pt. 1: the Haves and the Have-Nots
Rob Koll knows about the haves and have-nots in the sport of collegiate wrestling. He says that when he started coaching, he was definitely in the formerly mentioned group. Koll had to work hard through the years to produce what is now a national powerhouse wrestling program. In the series premier, episode 1 of The Program on Dake and the Big Red, go behind-the-scenes with Koll, Kyle Dake and the Big Red as they operate inside and out of the wrestling room. The Program - Team USA: The Path to Budapest part. 1
The path to Budapest starts at the US Olympic Training Center. With the World Championships right around the corner, Bader took to Colorado Springs to capture an incredible moment in time: the training of the US World team before they set foot on international soil. In episode one of The Program - Team USA, we follow one of the more dangerous 66kg wrestlers in the world, our very own Brent Metcalf. A tireless workaholic, Metcalf shows that he's back to his world team form and ready to take on anyone, including DAVID TAYLOR in a simulation tournament. See it to believe it.
The Program - Oklahoma State pt. 1: Chris Perry 'Obsessed'
Episode one of The Program with Oklahoma State focuses on 2013 NCAA champion, Chris Perry. The senior Cowboy takes us through his entire career in wrestling, starting at age four, leading up to high school where he was coached by his father, and after that, college where he's now coached by his uncle John Smith. His collegiate career at Oklahoma State is the focus here, and Perry holds nothing back in describing his struggles as a freshman, his letdown at Nationals as a sophomore and the culmination of his success last year when became an NCAA champion. Featuring interviews and appearances by Perry's father, his brother and 2x NCAA champion Mark Perry and his coach/uncle John Smith, this episode of The Program proves to be our most personal yet. The Program - Iowa Hawkeyes pt. 2: Mindmeld
"Yea we are about winning. We're about winning the right way and the hard way...But we know what it feels like to get beat, and we don't like it." Tom and Terry Brands are going to do everything they can to win, they're going to do everything they can to get production out of their wrestlers so that they don't get beat. Here we see the lengths Tom and Terry will go to get the most out of last year's starter at 149lbs, Mike Kelly. Kelly had a disappointing Big 10 tournament in 2012. Tom and Terry know the pain that comes from losing when the stakes are high, and they are willing to work as hard as they possibly can with Kelly (and other Hawkeye wrestlers) to make sure that he does not get beat again when it matters most.
The Program - tOSU: Crossroads and Game Changers
Words cannot adequately describe the losses and challenges that Tom Ryan has encountered in his life. The Buckeye wrestling coach describes the loss of his son, Teague, and discusses how such an experience changed his life. A crippling experience, Ryan was able to use his loss to fire his passion as a coach and as a father. Follow Ryan as he works to turn his wrestlers into game changing performers who possess a competitive spirit that they're proud of, and take an inside look at one of the more pivotal wrestle-offs in the country, between Sr. Cody Magrum and RFR. Kenny Courts, as they battle to become glorious performers on one of the most successful wrestling programs in the country.
The Program - NC State pt. 1: Culture Shock
With a new coach comes a new philosophy. Two time CAA coach of the year, Pat Popolizio, recently took over as the new head coach of NC State. The highly-regarded former coach of Binghamton University has his sights set high for his Wolfpack, and he is determined to transform the NC State wrestling culture into one that harvests success. Popolizio's "no excuses for anybody" mentality hasn't tested his team as much as it has brought them together, and with the help of outstanding assistants, like Jamill Kelly and Frank Beasley, the Wolfpack are sure to be in the hunt for an ACC Title in the near future. That in mind, Popolizio and his crew want much more.
The Program - Ohio State 2: The Freshmen
In episode 1 of The Program: Ohio State, we focus on the most impressive freshman trio in the country: Nathan Tomasello, Bo Jordan, Kyle Snyder. Though they're underclassmen, the talented young stars lead by example in the Buckeye wrestling room, and each has earned for himself the title of "team captain." The young fellas open up not only about their goals for the season but also about their decision to choose Ohio State over other top NCAA programs. "The Big 3" are an essential part of Ohio State's success in coming years, and Tom Ryan is personally depending on them to win a team title in 2015.
The Program - Oklahoma State pt. 2: Pressure is a Privilege
Since 1928, the Oklahoma State Cowboys have finished out of the top 7 at NCAAs only once -mind blowing. Stillwater is most definitely home to the most tradition-rich program in college wrestling. In episode two of The Program: Oklahoma State, we hear from current stars, like Dieringer and Perry, on why they decided to wrestle at OSU as well as Coach John Smith as he discusses what it means to be apart of the winningest program in NCAA wrestling history. The bulk of the episode, however, surrounds Coleman Scott and his run through the program and eventually to making an Olympic team (a long-standing Cowboy tradition). The Program - Edinboro pt. 2: Murderer's Row
In 2014, Edinboro finished 5th as a team at the NCAA tournament -their best finish yet but still a step away from earning a team trophy. The Program - Edinboro pt. 1: The Conception
In episode one of The Program: Edinboro, we go way back -back before Edinboro had a wrestling program- and hear from Jim McDonald, the athletic director who brought in Bruce Baumgartner and Mike Deanna to build Edinboro Wrestling from scratch. McDonald was handed the blueprint for how to develop a viable program by Dan Gable, and he worked endlessly with his two up and coming coaches to put the Fighting Scots on the map. Enter Sean O'Day. Shortly after making the move to d1, the now established Edinboro wrestling team needed something (someone) to elevate the program's status to new heights. One brother's aiming for his first NCAA title. The other brother's aiming to make NCAA history. The Stieber brothers. They're one of the most entertaining pair of wrestling brothers NCAA wrestling fans have ever seen, and they're the driving force behind an Ohio State Buckeyes team that's shooting for a national title in 2015. The Program: Edinboro (Trailer)
They built a division 1 wrestling program from scratch, and on the shoulders of Bruce Baumgartner, Jim McDonald and Mike Deanna, they turned that program into a national powerhouse. It took 30 years, but Edinboro is now a national contender and will look to get its first ever team trophy in 2015. Flowrestling's newest version of 'The Program' features Mitchell Port, AJ Schopp, David Habat and Coach Flynn and premieres Wednesday, November 12th.
