It does not matter if he is 15 or 16 or whatever he is dominating 18 and 19 year old men. Even if he was 17 or 18 he is still one of the best wrestlers in the nation. We get the same thing here if Florida with the Brandon kids but it really does not matter how old they are because all of these kids have been wrestling for years before they even got to the high school level and that is what sets them apart from their peers Hard Work, Dedication and Experience.

in Minnesota you can wrestle varsity starting from 7th grade. So he was a state champ in 7th and 8th grade.

That's not true- 7 months ago

Mark is only 12 or 13. Maybe 14 or 15 tops. He will be anywhere from 17-21 when he graduates high school - what does it matter except that he's older than most and more mature physically and mentally? Jealous that your parents won't home school you, or your wife won't let you hold your kid back? Get over it - don't hate the player baby - hate the game....hahahahaha

This is how he is a two timer 7 months ago

He beat the kids that took 2nd the last 2 years.

Seriously though, he wrestles in a state that allows 7th and 8th graders to compete on their high school varsity team.

Hello 7 months ago

What about the state championships! How is he a two timer?

He is 15 he will be 16 in january. Why do people feel the need to come on here and spew lies about a high school kid.

he is 16 yrs old 7 months ago

ya thats right he is 17 in jan.

Just wondering 7 months ago

How can you be a 2 x state champ your freshman year.....

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

Hall finished 3rd in 2009 in the middle school division, losing to Alfred Bannister

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

I finished my junior season before I turned 16.

He is 15...he works really hard all year long and all you people can focus on is how old he is!!! Why don't you ask to see his birth certificate next time you see him. Then you'll know and won't have to blow up his video with your assumptions. It would be nice to give him the respect he has earned!

While he is a little older than the average Freshman he is only 15 (1997 birthday if themat.com profile is correct) and will turn 16 in January. By contrast most freshman are 14 and turn 15 during the school year.

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

he is only 15 years old he was a first time cadet this past year

Anonymous Coward 7 months ago

Anyone know how old the kid is? Freshman could be anything from 14 to 16 years old. How old is he?
