Man Martinez kicked his butt. He took Whitford's will out of the match. Ben definitely had doubt in his body language

I would say until PA shows up and takes on CA head to head, CA is currently the king.

You are a moron. Whitford has proved it numerous times on the national stage. And I can guarantee you that your Cali dream team would not compete with the best of PA. I am sorry, but PA is just too damn tough

I was at the America's Cup and can say CA is the team to beat and they didn't have all their studs either. No Cisneros, no Valencia's, no Villareal and many others missing. OH had a loaded team and couldn't beat CA. Nothing against OH, but CA is just that good. Heck, as lopsided at the OR vs OH dual was, majority of the matches were all fairly close. A one time champ from OR took Zach Dailey to triple OT just to name one match worth mentioning.One thing also worth noting is that the OR team was mostly comprised of kids from very small schools.Hans Rockwell, Walker Damewood, Luke O'Connor, Sebastian Sanchez and Jake Batease all come from schools with about 250 kids or less. Same went for a bulk of our 2nd team as well.My point being there are a lot of good kids everywhere. And yes, when PA kids chose to bail on a tough national tournament in their own backyard, FLONationals, they lost a lot of respect. CA has shown they are willing to travel and out it on the line anywhere and everywhere. Maybe the Dapper Dan should be comprised of CA's best against the nation now.

There should be no excuses when you step on the mat. Yes, Whitford was smaller. Yes, he was out of shape. But Martinez won the match. I still believe Whitford is a better wrestler, as his credentials prove so. But Ben has always taken some weird losses and bounced back just fine. Ohio brought a pretty darn good team also and Cali took it to them. I would put Cali, as of now, right behind PA in terms of overall depth and stud power.

this was a tough tournament, not for the faint at heart. CA took 1st, Ohio 2nd, Michigan 3rd and Oregon 4th out of 28 teams. many top ranked kids at this tournament. saw Nikko Reyes lose to a champ from OH, then Griffin of OR beat everyone. lots of great matches. I'll be uploading the 5 duals I recorded sometime this week.
