The club is now one of the premier travel teams in the Capital District.Sol possessed more than a willingness to help others; it would be better described as a desire to help others. He helped his friends, family, teachers, and coaches whenever necessary, and also went out of his way to help people he did not know. He was committed to his community and his dream was to work in the field of Law Enforcement. He was accepted to attend the University of Rochester in the fall of 2006. Sol was diagnosed with Leukemia in January 2006, and had a very aggressive type, Philadelphia Chromosome. The "Match against Leukemia" will feature local clubs battling travel teams located throughout the northeast region such as: Wadsworth Wrestling (Massachusetts), Ironman Wrestling (Dutchess County); Westchester Wrestling (Westchester County), Gate City Wrestling Club (New Hampshire); and Sayville Wrestling from Suffolk County, Long Island. Although fierce rivals on the mat, these clubs are working together off the mat to help defeat Leukemia. This is a great example of the local wrestling community coming together to support the fight against blood cancers while honoring and remembering one of their own.The Titan Wrestling Club attends competitions in Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia, as well as extensively within New York.
