Yeah the video isn't working, a lot of videos have been doing this lately, with the red warning and its only like 2 seconds long so I can't even read what it says, but its getting kind of annoying. somone please help

I yell, scream and show emotion. However, I battle for every kid. I tell them when I'm yelling and screaming for them to win or improve, that's a good thing. It means I care. I also tell them they should be more worried about when I'm not yelling or screaming, when they are losing or messing up, not just on the mat but in life. That means I don't care anymore.

All kids are different. Some respond to yelling, some respond to not saying a word. A good coach is the one who finds how to do it all. I may look like a total jerk when I coach my own son, but what people don't know is, that after each match, my son and I can talk about a match, work on mistakes and work to fix them, in a calm setting.
Kids these days are taught to try and remain calm at all times and show no emotion. Problem is, there are times when intensity is needed and emotion needs to be involved, in order to overcome adversity. Again, finding the middle ground, should be the goal.

Every kid is different. Some kids feed off a passionate coach some don't. You can yell and scream all you want the key is keep everything you yell and scream positive! My youth coaches new how to bring our best out in us, and emotion was definately the way! Just don't go over board/

Good work, Mike. The only difference between you and me is that you're on the side of the mat and I'm screaming from a less visible site. Appreciate your work with the kids; that's what it takes to find the champions and help them ACHIEVE.

Shouldn't all coaches and parents see this? It is great. We need more of Mike Krause in wrestling, in coaching and in life. Thanks for finding him.

Listen to Mike - he knows what he is talking about. Mike was my high school coach and made me believe in what i was doing every day...and that belief translated into more wins that I would have otherwise had. Be passionate, train hard, see yourself winning and then go out and do what you have been training for.

Different strokes for different folks. I would like to see more College and International coverage by FLO instead of the kiddies.
