This guy could have definitely given himself a better chance to win. He should've given himself the best possible chance to win! What I'm saying is he should've went and trained under Terry Brands like "he said he was going to do"! It's a shame. His career is over now when he could've possibly become a 2x Olympic Champion.

2008 Olympic Champion Henry Cejudo talks about his retirement after a loss to Nick Simmons in the semi finals of the 2012 Wrestling Olympic Trials in Iowa City Iowa.
I don't understand. Where do you get that he isn't thankful...I get that he is thankful by mentioning how he has been blessed. He does seem to go on and on about his past but the guy just lost his chance to represent the US at the Olympics.I'm glad he is retiring. If you can't put your heart into it, you'll just be half stepping and wasting you time.
I just watched 5 other interviews where guys handled their defeat and career being over a lot more humble than this. I get he's had it rough but I agree with "enough'. Your not poor anymore be thankfull for your gifts pass them on to others enjoy your money and move on.
How many people on here have gone through what Henry has and still accomplished what he has?... nobody. He has accomplished his goal and is moving on, just like Cael Sanderson. Just because they aren't going for a second gold medal, people forget and dont appreciat how hard it was to win one.
Henrys an awesome wrestler and i respect the hell out of him but c'mon guys, he's sort of a tool all the time. we get your story Henry, no need to let us know how hard it was for you, we've all herd it before. Reguardless, HC is the an awesome wrestler and had one of the most exciting free style matches i've seen with Simmons
Dear Cisneros,Contrary to your opinion, he is talking about wrestling in it's truest commitment. I take either you never wrestled, never dedicated yourself or never pushed yourself past the point of no return (or all the above). He had an outstanding carreer allow him his moment without comment only respect. (did you succeed in what he did, or even come close)
