First off his name is jordan Oliver not oliver Jordan. Someone obviously doesn't fallow wrestling just watches the finals. I'm a Buckeye fan and i was happy that Stieber won, but agree that it could had been called a takedown. I am disappointed though on how Oliver was lazy and just layer there instead of working up o the waist. The ref couldn't see that Oliver had the bottom leg. The ref had a bad angle on it. None the less I think is Oliver's mistake for being lazy and not working up like you are taught to do as a kid in wrestling. |

It's a shame we never got to see this on national tv, like ESPN. This is so much "cooler" than another dunk, home run or touch down. |

His names Jordan Oliver. Not Oliver Jordan. Someone obviously doesn't really follow wrestling just watches the NCAA's. I agree that Jordan did look to have the takedown. My only question is why did he just lay there. He should have kept working up to the waist and he would have gotten the 2 call for sure. I was rooting for Stieber in this match and was happy he won. The call was hard to make fro the ref because he couldn't see that Oliver's bottom hand had Stieber's other leg, but there would have been no question if he would have worked up to the waist to get the takedown. My thought is that it was a poor move on Oliver's part just laying there instead of working up to the waist. |

...wow. Not only did u not know TOM Ryans name u....a) dont know what college he coaches for ...b)dont know what conference he coaches in...c)didnt realize Ryan was the WINNING coach in this match..d) got Jordan Olivers name wrong, twice...... |

It's ridiculous how a Big 12 coach would lose their composure like that, and run out of the tunnel after the match is over, to argue that no-call. I got news for you Tim Ryan: no matter how angry you get at the referees, that was not a takedown! Steeber won square and fair. Better luck next year OJ and Ryan..." |
