You guys are so ignorant. First of all McDonough has three NCAA final appearances and two titles to go with it. Oliver has one title and granted should have two in my opinion. Both are the epitemy of what wrestling is about and for any of you to get on here and bad mouth either well then you should get your head out of your a$$. You bad mouth Iowa any time they do bad simply out of pure jealousy bc they probably embarrassed your respective team in the past. Granted they are pricks along with the fans but you can't argue with results and the product they put on the mat. If anything you guys should be on here talking about the big 10 is the SEC of college wrestling. Oh and last time I checked wrestling and weight cutting go hand in hand

Anonymous Coward 1 year ago

well he is a 133 pounder but got scared when Oliver decimated him as a senior and now is staying at 125 to dodge him and we all are aware so quiet down son before you make me mad

MIKEY 1 year ago

PSU just won the nat'l title and their fans (toecutter) just want to talk about Iowa... This is GREAT... Iowa dominating the wrestling world in all forms and fashion.. 23 > 3 ... Just run along, you're kind of like the annoying little cousin trying to get to the big boy dinner table.

McDonough suckin weight? I don't get this... hasn't he been at 125 for all three varsity seasons? Are people wrestling at their walk-around weight now?

Anonymous Coward 1 year ago

You don't have to go back far to see when Penn State didn't finish the NCAA'S as the number one team in the STATE OF PENNSYLVANIA. Regardless of who you root for Penn State doesn't have $&%* on Iowa or Oklahoma State. You just tied Minnesota in team titles with 3. Until then, the Cowboys and Hawks will continue to be legends while you are the flavor of the month.

HEY IOWA (FANS AND WRESTLERS) DONT GO AWAY MAD JUST GO AWAY WE ALL LOVE TO SEE YOU FAIL

Anonymous Coward 1 year ago

its nice to see Penn State and Cornell at the NCAA tournament wasnt Iowa and OSU suppose to be there Oh I forgot they didnt do d*&#) this year hey McDunno why dont you go up to your true weight and then you might earn some respect (win or lose)

Toecutter 1 year ago

hey Brands and all Hawkeye fans the Midwest is cool (sort of) but the East rules you Hawkeys sure looked sorry this year if it wasn't for McDonough suckin weight (true 133 pound wrestler) we would not even know you were there the last two years Penn State is so much better and everyone knows that you can even steal that hairbag Mike Evans (another weight sucker almost 30 pounds this year and not even an AA to show for it) and it wont matter

Yesterday was pretty nuts, I guess Zach Rey has Quentin Wright aka J Jaggers blood. Flores can now thank the seeding committee for sending the freight train also known as Zach Rey his way of the bracket. Maybe they didn't want Flores back in the finals:) John Smith is my favorite wrestler of all time, but WHY would you take down against Dylan (don't take down against me) Ness. When I was watching the match, I said NO as soon as I saw him going down...and the cowboy then got ridden (isn't it supposed to be the other way around)?

Trackwrestling - NOT! I guess it is good to have interest as clearly they cannot handle the volume. I have not been able to connect toTrack even once.

click on "live stats" for tournament day and that will lead to updated brackets link

A few things that I predicted are coming to pass. Virginia Tech is falling apart as they did last year, James Green is a stud, and Rutgers is a place where multi-time NJ state champs go to lift weights, get tanned, and well that's it (GTL).

ESPN has exclusive filming rights to the NCAA's. ESPN3 will have live footage from the first 4 mats during sessions 1 & 2 on Thursday. ESPNU will have the quarters, semis, and medal rounds and ESPN will have the finals. Same way every year
