Coleman Scott talks about his Olympic experience and what he takes away from it. He is glad that he got a medal but upset that it was the wrong color. He had a large contingent of nearly 100 friends and family come to London to watch him and the first time he walked out into the arena he heard a large eruption which got him a little emotional. That caused him to be a little tight in his first match but he wouldn't let it happen again. Coleman Scott ended up in the bronze medal match needing to score to win. John Smith and Zeke Jones kept reminding him he needed to put multiple attacks together, and he did.

Firstly, congrats to Coleman Scott & all the US Olympians. Secondly, I must be delusional as well because I have seen that monster (JB) compete live in a wrestling room and in competition and I agree with CS. I also recall Cael Sanderson saying something very similar before 2011 Worlds. Does anyone know when the last time an American wrestler went undeafeated through the beginning of his International career through Worlds & Olympics?

He sounds like John Smith, just like rest of the guys from Ok St. I think he's little delusional about JB being the best p4p wrestler "by far hes ever seen" but who cares, its his opinion. Great guy. Stay humble Scottie.

I love how he talks about putting other nations up on pedistals. Its so true and if you look back to the days of '96 and before when we had studs and killer teams, those guys didnt give a care about who the other wrestler was. I doubt that Kenny Monday ever called Fadzaev "the russian". If he did it was never put as a word of fear as it has been from some of the wrestlers today. Its nice to see a change in mindset now from guys like Burroughs, Scott, Varner, Dlagnev, ect. In the past I am pretty sure that those guys knew who they had to wrestle, respected them, however they always planned on beating them. Its a mindset not just an attitude. Scott has it and will always get better because of it. Hazewinkle doesn't have it and thats why he lost. You cant be scared to open up on the best. I cant imagine Simmons holding back from trying the pin the hell out of any Olympic or World Champion. Burroughs has it more than any wrestler out there right now and that's why USA is on its way back on top!

I love what this guy has been showing over the last six months or so. We need more like him. If you look at our results, the guys who came through were the ones who could go get points when they needed them, whether there was 30 seconds left or 15. Varner scored his early and defended, but he could still get them. JB and C Scott waited until the end and then got them. Either way, that's the kind of wrestler we need at this level--able to go get the points against anybody anytime.

First, good showing from the Big 12 programs (Cornhuskers now in Big 10). Second, we need this team to push for Rio 2016. Keep the dream alive! Great job and thanks for all the excitement.

Coleman, you are great! You wanted gold, but dont think any American wrestler doesn't admire what you did. An Olympic medalist! Keep at it!
