Well, we got what everybody wanted - Nick vs. Ruth for the title.

Ruth was up 2-1 last year when he got hurt. He tried to continue, but gave up a bunch of points before defaulting. He's been on a mission all year - let's see if he finishes it.
If Nick wins, after beating Perry, congrats to him.

Ruth vs. Mooch will be sick. Hopefully in the finals so it gets national audience.

Amuchastegui was up 9-3 and putting a hurt on Ruth when he defaulted. Funny how he was able to wrestle back in cons. if he had such a bad injury. I think Nick broke him and he didn't want any part of him in the third period.

If you watch the video of the match (it's on Youtube)...Ruth hurts his leg earlier when he's standing out of bounds....he took an injury timeout right after that.

R LAw...no..it was Amuchastegui's bent leg turk that smashed Ruth. He doesn't win matches pretty like Ruth with big moves, but he pulverizes people on top. He will again, beat up Ruth.

I just don't see Amuchastegui being able to beat Ed Ruth. Ruth has been so dominate over very good opponents this year. Ruth is much much better than last year even. It wouldn't seem out of the question for Ruth to end it with a pin.

The NCAA match wasn't a good indicator for this matchup as Ruth had the knee injury early and continued to wrestle on it.....credit Amuchastegui for taking advantage though.
