If Taylor wants a title, he better win it this year. He is lucky that Caldwell has to sit out this year after transferring to Nebraska. Like Taylor, he will be a junior next year and likely in the same weight class. The kid was already a beast, but after rooming and training with Burroughs for a year he will be tougher than ever. |

Let me kill the speculation. I was the only one videoing for PAWRvideo/Flowrestling on Sunday. All the lightweight matches were in the other gym until the qtr finals. When the Qtr finals started all matches were run on the same mat for each weight. 10 mats 10 weights. This was very organized but only allowed me to video one mat because QF were all being wrestled at the same time. (Same with Semi and Finals).We appreciate your hard work Mark. Coverage Looks great. Looking forwaard to hanging out at ironman. |

Available on flow for scouting? You realize there are other matches that people can watch of Taylor on Flo, right? I'm pretty sure that's not the answer. And i don't think the suspense thing is it, ether. If you noticed it's the same guy's voice on every match, so i think he was the only one taping. I really don't think the guy taped it... |

You bet your butt they got the match. They're either withholding it for suspense or because, as someone mentioned earlier, PSU requested that it not be available on Flo for scouting. |

if there was only one guy filming all these matches, then i don't think he got the Taylor Fittery match because it was going on as he was filming the Fleming-Alton match. If that's the case, then that REALLY sucks.... |

IC what your saying. I think Taylor benefited greatly from the experience just as Gable did in his with Owings. He will be even tougher to handle this year and in a higher weight class no less. |

It looked to me like Taylor was inside on the ties about 80-85% of the time and was pushing the action. I think it was more likely that Jenkins couldn't hold Taylor down, than it was that he cut him loose. Credit where credit is due though, he definitely made DT pay for his mistake. I like Bubba J, I just think Taylor is a much better wrestler. When it's all said and done, I think Taylor will go down as one of America's greats, and Bubba will just be the guy who ruined his chance at collegiate perfection. Kind of like that guy that beat Gable.( Larry what's-his-name) |

I disagree that Taylor was "controlling" the match in the finals. The only point scored up to the cradle was an escape when Bubba cut him loose at the start of the second period. Bubba controlled a lot of the ties, Taylor had a nice high crotch shot that was defended and Bubba re-shot with and ankle that led to a stalemate. That was about it till Taylor came in too high on his shot in the second and Bubba got the cradle. Bubba took advantage of Taylor's mistake. To say Taylor was winning and controlling is overstated. They can go ahead and wrestle 100 more times, doesn't change the fact that Bubba was the better wrestler last year IMO. |

I can say it because it's my opinion. To back up my opinion I say watch the match, Taylor was winning and controlling the match, then got CAUGHT in the cradle. I've seen plenty of wrestlers piss pounding there opponent and get caught in a headlock, cradle, whipover, etc. I agree that a loss is a loss, but I BELIEVE if Jenkins and Taylor wrestled another 100 matches against each other, Bubba would still only have the 2 wins he's got right now. |

How can you say Taylor is better then Bubba? Bubs beat him twice. Caught in a cradle is not wrestling? Once they step onto the mat they wrestle and there is a winner and a loser, no excuses for anyone, he lost. Taylor would be the first to tell you he has no excuses and lost fair and square. bubba was the better wrestler last year and Taylor is probably better off with that experience. |

Did anyone seriously think Fittery was going to beat Taylor? Haters hold your tongues. DT's college career will be summed up by one word...DOMINANCE! Yeah, I know he lost to Bubba last year. No disrespect Bubba, but Taylor is a better wrestler. He got caught in a cradle, not out wrestled, there's a big difference between the two. When he moves on to the international level, he will dominate there too. Hopefully for Mr. Burroughs sake, Taylor will be clocking in at 84 kg by then. |
