True... but let's be honest. College wrestling is TERRIBLE. It's supposed to be only the beginning for those who are really talented. Kind of like college basketball or football. Still the glory days (even to pro athletes), but it's sad that it isn't longer lived like it should be with a little solidarity and business sense.

Joey Mac is right on! You cannot compete for a state or national title when you are 40, 50 60, years old etc...there is a short window to accomplsih in wrestling.... it is a young man's sport. Make the most while you can.....and reap the rewards for a lifetime. Do your best and be proud always.

He is so right. Wrestling has made me better in most areas of my life. McFarland is the man. Watch out for the Wolverines this year.
