Ohio State is ALWAYS ready for NCAAs. They always show up, perhaps more "peaked" than any other team out there. Steiber's feet will be moving more at the end of tough matches than they were in this one. |

Wish I could see the whole match...Really the college season is like 2 seasons for guys that cut a lot of weight. There's the dual season where managing your weight is key, and the tournament season, I.E conference meet and NCAA's where it's important but not as important. Don't know where the dual started but clearly Steiber was gassed. Dardenes is good but for the few that are within the top 4 in the country/plan on making the semi's come March, weight management isn't as important. There's a huge difference between the hour and half these guys had after weighing in (guess) and the 3-4 hours or maybe even 12 hours they'll have in March depending on what round they potentially might wrestle in. Check out guys like Dake and Perry who sometimes had headscratching mid season losses then dominated guys when they had ample time to recover. Completely different match then IMO. Nothin taken from either guy, that's just the way the sport is. |

Cutting

He is obviously cutting to much weight, he was so gassed he could barely move, I think he should move to 41 where he belongs |

Both Oliver n Steiber seemed to have a lack of urgency.... Willing to bet by March the will change... I just hope they end up on the opposite side of the bracket |

Hate to say it but Logan looke a little gassed and flat-footed at the end. I am sure he will be ready come Big Tens ,and nationals . But top end of this weight class is loaded. |

Tony Ramos and Chris Dardanes with huge wins, thats Illinois wrestling, we might be seeing some illinois match ups in march, just like when Chris and Tony wrestled at the State tournament in Illinois |

Yeah I give Chris credit for good match. With that said Logan just seemed real gassed. He did not appear to be his self. I dont want to make excuses though. |

What the h$ll is goin on in these past couple weeks? First, JO and now the Hammer L. Stieber falls to....Dardanes??? WTF is goin on? Didnt Stieber beat the crap out of Dardanes this past year in FS...like tech fall or something? Maybe that was his bro idk but this is really weird. How much do you wann a bet coach Ryan has the Bucks in the Scuffle/Midlands next year?? That 2 week layoff made these bucks soft, no doubt about it. Huge win for the Dardanes kid, props homeboy. Its like the attack of the body snatchers, that did not look like L. Stieber out there....really weird. I guess everyone can hav a bad match but dang, that was vomit worthy |
