As for the UNCG comment. I do understand an argument being made but its kinda of a stretch. A college rents a venue for their athletics that is a 3rd party venue not a college campus. The organizers of super32 looked all over NC to find another venue big enough to handle it and couldn't find one roof that could. UNCG makes $0 off this event so therefore not benfiting a college that dropped wrestling. If your suggesting boycotting an entire CITY that dropped wrestling you can probably look up the dropped project spreadsheet Jason Bryant has and make a case to not hold a wrestling tournament in about 200 cities in the US. |
