Well, the "slam" goes either way. Tomasello was definitely turning the corner and driving; McKenna had the body lock. It's just a bad position, but slam? Not at the top level. JV maybe. |

That was definitely a slam. A point should have been awarded to McKenna And therefore did make a difference in the match |

yes, it was a slam. however, if mckenna is really going to depend on a slam call to win him the match then he doesnt deserve the win. i think its pretty clear that tomasello outwrestled him. another thing: its not like the slam gave him some kind of unfair advantage in getting the takedown, so stop acting like it made any difference |

McKenna shouldn't be upset at the end, Although he was riding tough in the third, he spent the rest of the match walking backwards in neutral. I personally think he should have been bopped for stalling before the third. |

Not sure how the lack of a call cost the Blair kid the match? Whether the call was correct or not, the Blair kid had almost 5 minutes to score a takedown or turn the other fellow. He obviously wasn't able to do it. A bad call?? influenced the match maybe, but the Blair kid had plenty of time to come back, and not a significant point deficit to overcome. No one likes bad calls, but like in life, they just need to be dealt with. It wasn't as if it happened with 20 seconds left. Just my opinion. |
