The Beast of the East wrestling tournament is one of the most competitive high school wrestling tournaments in the country. It takes place in Delaware and is run by the Delaware Wrestling Alliance, bringing together around one hundred of the best wrestling prgrams in the region. The tournament features schools from over 10 different states and includes national powerhouses such as Blair Academy, Wyoming Seminary and Pittsburgh Central Catholic. The Beast of the East consistently provides a place for top level competition to come together and face each other. The Beast of the East it takes not only physical shape and conditioning, but it takes a strong mind because of the depth of the tournament which has not only good wrestlers, it has a lot of them.Â
