He doesn't know Akmedov? Loser, dont you do this for a living? Akhmedov may be there best guy at 211 and I bet he replaces Gatsalov. He beat Ketoev and Saidov to win Yarigan. Gatsalov has not competed this year. Also he is fresh off a Jr World Champ last year. He may be the best guy in New York=VArner will have his hands full but if he beats him I think Jake is right there then for Gold.

I wonder if James Brown is going to bust out with Living in America dancing around in an American flag before this event gets underway. Zeke Jones should wear a BOSS sweatshirt and don't be afraid to THROW THE DAMN TOWEL if needed before somebody dies.

Hmmmmmmm... 2 years ago

I keep on replaying the exploding gloves for some reason......

Jimbo Flo 2 years ago

....there probably not that good. Yeah probably just going to end up as 2 time world champions so scrubs in Russian terms.

Of course Russia's 3's are probably better, but USA's fielding a pretty badass team (Cejudo's probably not back at his best...) Anyway, this isn't an official event, so sit back and enjoy what will probably be some great matches...

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

What are the odds Cejudo actually wrestles in this? Will these guys have to make weight?

Coach Gwiz 2 years ago

Junior Worlds is probably the 2nd or 3rd best tournament in the world behind the World Championships and Olympics. And the Euro Championships is tough also.

Theyre probably not that good idk if he was serious or nOt buy i needed that laugh.

What the Fisnuck? 2 years ago

I thought old slimey politico Noel Thompson said Russia was Bringing their ones? They average team age of the Russians is like 22. Most coming off great performances at the Junior Worlds a year or two ago. But, I bet the Russian "3s" work the USA "1s" most bouts we win is 3. we won't win the dual.

Heh Heh 2 years ago

In Mother Russia vodka drink you :)

hell yeah. Go USA

alls' i can say is Damn

hah 2 years ago

the rocky movie in the background, its like oppisite now... We have all that crappy new technology and the russians are country strong and just going to kick our butt! U.S needs to go country style like the brands, and smith days.. When the real champs were created! Should be interesting im expecting 2-3 wins out of Team USA(metcalf, burroughs, cejudo).

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

ya i guess a russian national champ isn't there best. lol. i swear, most of you people have no idea what you are talking about

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

"They are probably not good"...But USA will still get their butt kicked lol

i doubt 2 years ago

that everyone pulls through. there are always a few guys that end up backing out of these things...

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

I AM PUMPED!!

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

any possibly chance this is going to be on tv?

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

that's sad

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

Russia legit didnt bring anyone of their top guys, but I bet they are still in the dual because Russia's 2nd and 3rd tier guys can beat the majority of our top tier 1 guys...

Anonymous Coward 2 years ago

Russia send their 3rd string against our varsity.
