True Sophomore and 2x National Champion Kyle Dake. What did he do? Malinaro said "He just caught me off guard. I didn't think he was going to shoot."

What did I say a week ago? ohh ya... "Dake will not stand around getting his head worked for 3 rounds. He will be attacking, well, if he wants to win."

Looks like that's what he did. He didn't get his "head worked"! hahahahah

What if the reason he look so tired during his matches is because he works much harder during them than his opponents.

How can he someone be 28-2, or whatever his record is, and not be in good shape?

Which is exactly what you did by throwing all three different techniques into 1 single grouping and then trying to say they all had the same, EQUAL effect, of tiring him out.

Really, he isn't out of shape?

Watch some video of his matches this year, any one that goes a full 7 minutes, the kid is sucking wind and looks like his cardio is lacking. Even the matches he wins.

Maybe wrestle a match and then get back to me and tell me pushing off the head has the same effect as snapping someone in to a front headlock. Then tell me hanging on a Russian tie is the same effect as well, which is your overarching point.

I am not back tracking from anything here. He got the dog piss worked out of his head. I will take any bets that if they wrestle again it wont be the same match. Dake will not stand around getting his head worked for 3 rounds. He will be attacking, well, if he wants to win.

Dake isn't out of shape and the weight cutting is not the factor that lost him this match.

everyone get a life they dont need no head snaps count or whos state is better or whos better then who because he beat this guy but loss to this guy who cares next weekend we see who the real champion is theres a reason why these 2 are all americans 1 a ncaa champ i dont think they need intell from fans from the sideline

Not trying to take sides in this argument, but pushing or palming the head and using a Russian tie as a means to control your opponent have very different end results when compared to being "heavy" on the head in terms of what your are trying to do to your opponent.

They also do not result in the same level of energy exertion in terms of how tired your opponent will get by defending them. An opponent pushing on your head simply does not cause the same level of wear and tear as someone hanging on the head and consistently snapping the head into front headlocks and things of that nature. Neither does a Russian tie up.

The counters involved to defend a palm/hand push or Russian tie up are far less energy intensive when compared to trying to gain back proper head position from front headlocks or getting your head caught underneath your opponent.

At least it that is what I experienced during my wrestling career.

I gave you a definition of categorize, which involves placing things of a similar nature into one all encompassing number, which is what you did.

The things you included in your count have drastically different results and affects in terms of wrestling, yet you refused to acknowledge that, at first, most likely because you never wrestled and never experienced the differences between them.

It is good to see you admit it now that you have been called out on it.

You also like to add things to people's posts that are not present. Who said categorize and equal were the same? I simply stated the definition of categorize, in which you included several different wrestling techniques and used the word "snap" as a label for all of them, which is an incorrect categorization on your part. You cannot categorize three different techniques under one umbrella term, wrestling does not work like that. And anyone who wrestled will tell you the same.

When did I ever say there were only slaps? I'll answer for you, I didn't. More falsification on your part.

You were the one who originally argued they all have the same affect, to which I disagreed and now you are trying to back track. Maybe you should have thought more about your over-broad categorization before you posted, it implies a large lack of wrestling knowledge on your part.

Very different in definitions.

They are not "Equal".

They are "similar" They helped wear him down. Let me palm you in the head 30 times without you doing anything to defend it and see what it does to your gas tank. Let me add in some pulls off 2 different 2 on 1 ties, throw in there a few subtle head snaps, and then a few more heavy snaps and see what happens to you in 3 minutes.

Are you really trying to say that Equal and Category mean the same thing? Your connotative definition of equal is a little off here. You might want to check the denotation again.

The best part is you probably never watched the video or read the article I mentioned. You also started this by saying that I was only counting "slaps". I never said slaps you did. Now you are admitting there was more than slaps going on. lol...like I thought, you just want to argue over your computer.

A head snap/slap is not similar to pushing off the head or tugging/pulling at the arm. Do you really want to continue this?

If you read the post again you would see that I clearly defined what I was referring to as a "snap".

Here is what I posted:

I categorized them I didn't equate them. There is a big difference.

You may not realiz it for some reason, but the post when you count all the head 'snaps', which was ridiculously high, is equating them as all being the same, as you did not differentiate at all.

So, whether you like it or not, you equated them as all being equal and did not specify or refine your argument until it was pointed out to you they all have different effects.

After all this talk you guys have going I went ahead and counted what I would call real snaps. I did include the subtle ones on the arm as well and I saw 30 in the first round. If we are not counting the pushes on his head.

I think what this guy is saying is that the type of pushing the Bucknell kid is doing on Dake's head also wears him down to some degree. I can see that. I don't think it is as big of a factor as pulling directly on his head

I also said this would be a different match if Dake had gone out there attacking legs, instead he went out there like any other match he has wrestled this year and was waiting for his opponent to get tired. LeVally is in good shape, and he looked even better because Dake doesn't hardly attack. He simply waits for his opponents to tire themselves out, which I could see wasn't going to happen after the first round of Le Valley controlling the ties and snapping.

I am not equating anything here. If you read my post instead of trying to manipulate what was said then you will see that all I was trying to say is that Dake got his head worked.

When someone tried to say that he didn't I then pointed out the big factor that lead Dake being worn down. All of the heavy head snaps, subtle head snaps, arm pulls, and palm punches played a roll. When you are working someones head every fraction of an inch that you move someones head takes its toll on their lower back and legs, hence why in this match Dake can't even stay in a good stance half way through.

People were trying to make excuses as to why he looked like crap. I simply pointed out what I saw as the biggest factor instead of blaming weight cutting or him being out of shape. He sure didn't look out of shape in the quarters or semis.
