I loved watching Howe and Burroughs wrestle, and I look forward to any meetings between the two wrestlers in the future. Both of these guys are smart wrestlers and epitomize their respective styles so the adjustments they will make will make a winner of the one who adapts best during the next match. Jordan Leen talked about what happens when you when you are young and you can’t repeat. He placed it in context of his loss at the 2009 national championships in a weight class featuring three national champions (Burroughs, who won it that year and previous winners Leen, and Gillespie) and Mike Poeta, a great All-American. Leen says you don’t get any worse when you don’t repeat, he himself got a lot better but didn’t repeat. Leen said that people figure you out. During that interview he says that Jordan Burroughs looks like the most dominant wrestler you have ever seen, with unique and freakish skills. Leen anticipated that people would figure out Burroughs. As you watch this interview, I can see Howe figuring it out, thinking through what it would take to win. Burroughs is one of my favorite wrestlers, a class act, who gets more credit for his phenomenal athleticism than his brilliant set-ups. You know Burroughs will come back in great shape to meet Howe and after watching this interview and you know Howe will make adjustments to meet Burroughs. I don’t know if Howe will repeat this year, Burroughs may be the best collegiate wrestler in the nation this year, but I think he will repeat over the years to come. However, I am impressed to see Howe thinking through the adjustments he will make as it shows his ability to change and improve, a hard change when you are already a great champion and your game plan was solid.

That question about the blast double was so stupid. What was Howe going to say? That was the best takedown I have ever seen, can't believe he did that to me. Howe is a class act, too bad him and Burroughs are the same wt class. They are the two best pound for pound. I don't see him beating Howe.
if u cant see him beating howe, you should probably watch their match. he beat howe.

poor questioning tho, very disappointed, seriously at :49 "cuz it was an explosive, awesome takedown by burroughs," not sure if u were being fiscecious, but how r u gonna ask that question, what kind of answer did u expect from a national champion, glad he kept his composure, ur lucky he didn't blast double you thru the wall!
