I think we need to have a debate on whether or not kids should be taught the head and arm. I see very reputable coaches say that anyone that teaches an 8 yr old kid the H&A;is a hack, and I used to have those feelings too. But now I see the H&A;hit at the HS state level and even NCAA and I'm thinking why not?

very cool, Mike, thanks for the great input, we need to get more messages to the parents at the youth level. I also like the idea of waiting till age 15 or 16 to focus on wrestling, and, still then, staying connected to the other sports at even a recreational level to keep their athleticism and help carry over towards wrestlers.
