Someone get AC to a 12 step program he's a stall'aholic. Everyone's saying close matches and strategy....I call B.S. two words for you Morgan Mcintosh, want another two?....Jason Welsh these are D1 caliber guys and they go go go go. AC used to be exciting, now he so worried about loosing he not even wrestling. I hope he gets he swagger back and starts to really turn it on.

Alex would turn Guilibon like a rag doll. Guilibon has to cut down to 19s and barely beats Dance!
Dance is a hell of a wrestler and if i remember correctly Cisneros barely beat Dance last year at ironman on top of Dance being vastly improved this year! But im sure you are correct as you guys seem to have all the answers and expertise on wrestling your beloved Cisneros would turn #1 in the nation like a rag doll even though gulibon has never given up back points in his 3 year high school carreer and been taken down a whopping 2 times in almost 100 matches agaist some of the top wrestlers in the nation!

Some of you people need to get a life...you write on here disgusting comments about high school kids who are only a sopre and junior with two completely different styles who made it to the finals of a tough tournament filled with some of the best wrestlers in their weight class, and you guys write about they aren't "college ready" or "they needed to get the escape" to win. Tell you what. When you win back to back state titles (Alex) or win every USAW off season tournament including F/S State, Cadet and Junior freestyle and greco (Ali), then please enlighten us with your wisdom.

I have a name for cowards: they're called losers.

Face it some of these kids are on College level and that means low scoring College like matches. If you can't understand that, you are still wet behind the ears in Wrestling.
First off, neither one of these kids are on the college level and if one was and the other wasn't, then this match would have been a blow out. Also, I am sick of people saying college wrestlers are low scorers or that college wrestling is low scoring. the only thing that makes highschool wrestling seem more high scoring is that you get kids you are good on a national scale a lot more often then not going up against kids who are some times only state or county caliber wrestlers. Those types of differences don't happen in college, even between D1 and D2 or 3. Oh and there are TONS of high scoring matches in college, are you kidding me???

nasir is a little beast I spoke with him last year at freshmen Nationals. He is from Russia and was a cadet National freestyle Champion there. He was having a little trouble adapting to folk but watch out for him hes very young!

Jimmy would absolutely beat Alex! Way better wrestler on his feet! Alex wouldnt take gulibon down if he had 10 periods to do it!

Guilibon would get destroyed. Ali refused to wrestle in this match. That is what his oppents do now, not take any shots and hope for the spin around. Wrestle to win, you will lose.

Worst match iv seen in awhile!

Send him to PA Gulibon or Megaludis will teach him how to get a take down!

Alex Cisneros is not injured. He is just program to much that he fails to see or create opening for takedowns. He is to predictable and relies on one takedown He is definely not an Stephen Abas or Guerrero. Until he starts to open up, he will continue to have these types of matches.

diaz 2 years ago

he must be injured. but good enough to not have to shoot...

Im not ECR's coach but im just guessing that the reason he picked neutral in the 3rd was because last week at doc b alex beat ali 3-2 in triple overtime with ali's 2 coming from a takedown and alexs 3 all coming from escapes.

I have seen this style of wrestling and it typically faulters in D1. As already mentioned, where are the hand setups. When a wrestler becomes great at defense they also become low scorers, vulnerable to a single takedown loss.

The Selma kid is a true thorobred that knows how to win. And if you never lose than accordingly you are the Champion. Face it some of these kids are on College level and that means low scoring College like matches. If you can't understand that, you are still wet behind the ears in Wrestling.

Who's coaching the ECR kid??? he goes nuetral in the 3rd down 1-0???? that's a mistake!!! cisneros clearly was being cautious to not make a mistake. worst case if the ECR kid gets turned, the coaches can scout the matchup for future references. now if they see each other again it's a dice roll as to what the coach will do, in that same situation. Bad coaching and strategy!!!!

why 2 years ago

I'm suprised that Cisneros has no shot. A shuck, ankle pick, single... something. Finally had ok shot at end. He's capable - just doesn't seem to have a lot of confidence.

How many shots did Ali take? Oh....oh....I know! None!! Comment on that fool.

Nick Beattie 2 years ago

Cisneros really needs to work on handfighting and getting his shots off of ties. Those fakes just aren't doing it.
