If you score points by faking shots then Sanderson would have won this match by alot.. Howe is efficient.. When he shoots he scores, when you shoot he scores. His defense is better than your offense and his offense is better than your defense.. Enough said.. Burroughs is a STUD and I cannot wait to see that matchYour line of his defense being better than your offense and his defense being better than your offense is perfectly scripted Coward. That is Andrew Howe in a nutshell!! This is WHY he is so successful and hasn't lost folkstyle since his freshman year. Burroughs is a total stud but Howe takes him. |

hopefully howe does not make a world team or olympics because he will get stalled out of the match and will not have any offense against russians or anyone else with offense. the stalling calls come quick when you just wait for opponent to wrestle. how many stalling calls will he get against burroughs when they wrestle |

I am so impressed with how Kael Sandersin has adapted to the international styles. Although he is getting beat in this match, he is learning fast. We have all expected so much from him after he went undefeated in his senior year at Iowa!! (In only his second year on Varsity I might add). It's incredible that he can maintain a career wrestling while being an assistant coach at Ohio State! Congrats and good luck to you Sandersin!! |

I am never impressed watching howe. He has a great defense....but that's it. He seems like he stalls every match. He is so freakin boring to watch. I hope to see someone to get past his strength and stalling tactics.....and really challenge him this yearYou need to get a clue Snooky! Howe is a great wrestler. He controls every match he is in. |

anyone who criticizes Howe for not taking shots and being aggressive has not watched him wrestle much this past year. Watch him in person and you can see him mentally and physically break opponents right in front of your eyes. |

burroughs will tool howe on his feet. there is no way howe can defend good shot attempts. howe is a great wrestler but doesnt handle super offensive guys well.Doesn't handle offensive guys well? Who has he lost to? He lost 5 matches as a true freshmen & still took runner up at finals, won title as a soph., & captured a US Open. I don't think there are many he can't compete with right now. All he does is win, but I find it funny when people critisize the fashion in which he, or anyone for that matter, does it. |

dear All,passivity may or may not have changed who won the match. what it would have done is made it watchable. there is a reason folkstyle is exciting to watch. people are forced to wrestle. |

If you watch the Howe/Fay match, Howe shoots in about 10-12 shots while Fay took one shot. Howe gets criticized for not shooting but in so many of his matches he is the one taking the shots. I agree he was not that aggressive in this match, but if you watch most of his matches he is in on singles quite often. If you watch the Howe/Paulson matches Howe was the only one to shoot in those matches. |
