So what are you saying? Firstly, please define "most" as I do NOT believe most high school wrestlers are hold backs, I actually believe the percentage of holdbacks is quite small compared to the overall mass of high school wrestlers. Secondly, you are essentially saying, "Well, it's OK to cheat bc everybody else does it." I guess it was thinking like yours that has ruined MLB and the hallowed statistics. "Well gee, everybody is 'Roiding up, so should I!" If everybody jumps off a bridge, will you follow? So if everybody is being held back then everybody is a filthy cheater and I am not. That is how I can sleep at night and that is why my history in high school wrestling is pure and untainted unlike the great 17+ year old SOPRE Taylor Massa. The kid used to drive himself to his tournaments in the NINTH GRADE. Nearly the ENTIRE great St. Paris Graham team of Ohio are holdbacks. I guess they have the mentality, everybody else is cheating, we need to cheat too. GREAT message for adults to pass on to younger people, CHEAT at all costs and WIN at any cost. Great message!

Just look at this kid in the interview, he is YEARS ahead of his supposed grade and time.

If you don't think that most kids in a lot of sports are held back as well, you're totally naive and clueless. Fact is, sports like FB and basketball have been doing this for years.

I agree with Ohio Wrestler...all you have to do to confirm that is think if you were a wrestler anyways back to when you were in High School. If I wrestled myself as a senior vs. myself as a soph...it would have been a tech-fall (and that wasn't merely based on two more years of training)

I didn't take anything away, heck, I called him a phenom. The fact is he should be a senior, that's all. And to answer your question, Luster is yet another intentional holdback, same type of kid. I do not blame these kids, I blame their dirty cheating parents who will do ANYTHING to win, and that means putting their kids in "home schooling" which is a joke then they make the kid repeat their schooling several times prior to allowing them to move forward. This allows the kid an ENORMOUS maturity advantage when they hit puberty in the 8th or 9th grade as opposed to hitting puberty in 11th or 12th grade, sometimes later. This simply causes an unfair advantage against whom? The kids who did it the right way, entered school appropriately and are trying to win championships without the advantage of being years ahead maturity wise of their peers. Now we can argue whether you feel insecure facing the cold brutal truth but that is another issue for another day.

Seriously? Yeah because Luster is a spring chicken too right? There are lots of kids who are a little older than their grade for many different reasons. Stop making excuses for your own insecurities and failures. Ohio Whiner.

To put this phenom into proper perspective, he is currently older than I was when I GRADUATED high school as I did not turn 18 for 6 months following my June graduation. Not that he is not a spectacular wrestler but being the equivalent age of some graduating HS seniors and calling himself a "sopre" is deceiving at best, dirty at worst. This reminds of all the basebal players who destroyed all of the sacred records by juicing up to the limit then finally admitting after years of Federal prosecutions that they never did PEDs to improve their results, simply for recovery. Oh OK. This is similar, saying that this kid does not have a GROSS advantage to the kids who were not held back 1-2 years by their dirty parents is a bigger joke than the previous.
