Demas barely won his quarters match. Although Phillips isn't looking to be as dominating as we'd hope, he still would decision DemasI'm not exactly saying that Demas would beat Phillips I'm just saying he sure would have a good chance. While Demas having the flu might be one reason his QF match was close another reason might be that Michael Alexander is the #26 ranked 171 pounder in the nation according to Wrestling USA mag and that makes him, at least on paper, tougher than any competition Phillips faced. Again I am a huge Phillips fan and would be cheering for him in a match against Demas. |

Demas barely won his quarters match. Although Phillips isn't looking to be as dominating as we'd hope, he still would decision Demasdemas claims he was fighting the flu the past week and coming into the tournament, may have affected his earlier performance. but he more or less dominated in the finals which is where it counts most |

I don't know but in the case of Phillips trust me when I say you were not missing much. Alex Utley is very good and he made Phillips look very average. I love Phillips but I have to say that he might not even have been the best 171 in Ohio. He would have had a very hard time with Div I Josh Demas.Demas barely won his quarters match. where are chris phiilips and logan stieber's final matches?I don't know but in the case of Phillips trust me when I say you were not missing much. From last year, live coverage was @ OHSAA.Org, however, flo coverage could be live this year. Let's wait and see come 3/6. |
