Wow that was some pretty good scrambling. I don't know these kids at all. My opinion is that the ref called this match right. Bushart in my opinion looked to be the better wrestler... but for some reason didn't hammer home his finishes. A couple times when he was in position to score he acted like he was just holding on for the stalemate.

Have to give it up to Trott for some seriously good defensive wrestling. Most kids would have bailed on 90% of the messes that Trott got himself into.

Bushart was GASSED. Great job Trott! honestly it looked like Bushart was in some positions where he could have finished easily if he really wanted to, which makes no sense i know this is the state championship. Anyway, i dont think pope should cast the blame. Bushart didnt do enough to win..but he is still one heck of a wrestler.

Austin is the man. he won strait up the ref did not give anything away bushart did not finish. the Albino Rhino wins state BOOSH!!!!

Bushart needs to learn how to finish...def the better wrestler. Had a takedown at 1:23 and at end. Ref definately gave match away...Horrible ref, but can't fault trott for the ref being incompetent

Bushart had two textbook takedowns that weren't called. Pretty awful. No way that wasn't a takedown at the end. Gotta give props to trott tho, flexible kid great counters.
