no matter what is said about this match, dwieza won states at 135 and alton won state at 145. big difference in weight, dwieza is a stud and im willing to bet anyone that dwieza will have a better college career.Hahaha Idiot better college career? Dziewa biggest beast on the mat, anyone who knows him knows that any wrestler who bumps up a weight at his home school to wrestle a match he might lose is a real wrestler |

it deff doesnt look like anyone is bigger then the other person-dziewa is just as big hes even taller then alton- alton is just a beast, he wins college opens like its his job |

...and 5 takedowns worse than Alton. I hear brands likes guys that don't shoot, clock watch and get pushed around the mat. btw, Dweiza may be giving up weight but he has at least 3 years on Alton.seems to me like several of Alton's takedowns were off of Dweiza's shots. Don't understand why your knocking the "iowa style" for not shooting here. Alton's real good but i think you're a little biased towards him. I think the size difference made a huge impact on this match. This said, i'm not taking anything away from Alton. If Dweiza is any bigger he still might not have been able to win. Both are great wrestlers. |

If you don't know anything about college wrestling you might as well keep your mouth shut and stick to soccer. |

Also, people talk about Dziewa being a 135 pounder and bumping up twice to get alton. Don't forget that aalton wrestled 141 at earlier college tournaments. Is dziewa really going to go 135 post season, is he certified there? Idk |

If Josh stayed to the outside of the match and kept a low shot to alton all match it could of easily of went 1-1 going to OT and he could of possibly of got lucky, but he was winded by the beginnging of the 3rd so you never know. Even with josh bumping up to help the team, he should of known no highschool near his weight class has a shot against this kid. |

I see this a lot being sort of a cop out for losing....'well he'll be better in college'...Actually I think Alton will be a really good collegiate wrestler once he learns to ride. Watch Out! |

Look forward to watching both of these boys as well as Dylan taking their run at States this year. PA Wrestling is as strong as I have seen in years. Great wrestlers at both ends of the scale. |

Dziewa is seeking out the best competition he can find -- good for him. That's how you get better and I respect him for going for it. He's giving up considerable size and strength and it shows. He hits a beautiful inside trip in the first period and the only reason he didn't get it is that Alton simply powered out of it. Same thing later in the period with a nice duck. The size difference neutralized Dziewa on his feet. Alton, to his credit, wrestled a very intelligent match. Dziewa is a beast on the mat and especially on top and Alton never gave him a chance to wrestle there. He fought off a few good TD attempts by Dziewa early, then he kept the match on the feet and made it look pretty easy. Smart, strategic wrestling. Both guys are definitely ready for the next level. |

Can't disagree with that Raider. I am never disappointed at an Alton match, a Dziewa, Peppelman or Kindig match. The Alton's are incredibly good instinctive wrestlers and have defense to match their offense. Dziewa is the best defensive wrestler I have seen in years but needs to work on his offense. |
