It never gets old watching these two battle. Breintenback great match. TM, way to battle thru everything! Im proud of both men to work as hard as they do and to put on a great match. It is something I will always remeber and so will these men

One other reason boys don't travel outside of Oklahoma is because alot of those tournaments are USA sanctioned events which means you have to buy a USA wrestling card, additional money.The Roller tournaments are not usa sanctioned by USA. We end up wrstling a ton of the same kids week in and week out.

Reno is pretty much the same as Virginia except for the kids competing for the trinity award. Which means they already won Kickoff Classic and Tulsa nationals. And not many accomplish that.

Absolutly. I'm not comparing the two states just that tournament. I would stay at home for state as well. My son has been to several Granby wrestling camps.

How is Reno Worlds? Unfortunately, Va States is the same weekend as Tulsa Nationals and you know to young men competing it is important for the to Represent their state as the Champ. By no means was this an arguing contest, hopefully a way to bring better competition to all tournaments.

I'm not do saying that the wrestling is bad in Virginia. Just that tournament. Oklahoma had only fourteen wrestler at that tournament twelve of which placed no less than 3rd. The competition is tougher every weekend in northeasten Oklahoma. The two wrestlers that didn't place don't place in Oklahoma either. Good or bad thats just the way that it is. The reason more Oklahoma wrestlers don't travel there is because the best two kids wrestling tournaments in the country are in Tulsa. Cliff Keen Kickoff Classic and Tulsa Nationals why travel, anyone will tell you that. There is a reason that those two tournaments have been there forever.

If the kids are so tough, how come you dont bring a team to some of the dual meets they have here? We always bring teams to Schoolboy Nationals, Fargo and other competition out in the midwest. You oughta meet us halfway?

Not bad for VA. No disrespect to that tournament. But both thoseboys would get whipped in local Oklahoma tournaments. I don't even want to talk about Tulsa Nationals. Sorry

This is a great middle school match to watch if you are a true fan of wrestling. Both competitors non-stop action. Great Match. Where did this VA kid come from?

Hey psycho! These r kids, no need for negative remarks! These kids work hard for where they r and they deserve to enjoy the glory and learn from their experiences. Kids need encouragement and if u have a hard time with that then dont say anything at all!!

Congrats to both kids on making the finals. No, there were 10 kids in the bracket and both boys got 3 matches to make the finals. Not the draw we expected but we made the trip and wrestled what they gave us. As far as Tulsa goes, looks like we will be skipping our own Va states to make that trip, not sure yet. Both young men fought hard and VA was victorious. Aunts, Grandmas and Friends etc. should be able to be proud!! I know I am of my lil PUNK!
