Knowing what we know now, what a gutty performance by Gallick.

Good job

Didn't LeClare, Morningstar, Borschel, Mueller and McDonough all grow up in Iowa and wrestle at the Little Hawyeye Club around the same time?

David Hockenberry 3 years ago

Great job LeClere! You deserved that match. Bad refereeing.

Kyle Ruiter 3 years ago

gallick should have gotten hit twice more for stalling. he spent 3/4 of the match backing up and laying on the side of the mat. joke ref

JoeFlo you the man!

I agree w/Cliff, JoeFlo has the Commentary......Maybe a Flowrestling TV Channel someday?

Joe Arnone 3 years ago

hahaha i love it. nice hips defending that head in the hole! kinda an iffy two though in OT...

Joseph Mammalello 3 years ago

gallick backed up a lot and just didnt want nothing from LeClere

Joseph Mammalello 3 years ago

what are both of there ranks?

Boris Pratski 3 years ago

I like Gallick but in that match I thought he was sucking wind. Probably a weight issue. Lots of running by him and should have had a point or two against him. Weak ref. All wrestlers on both sides earned the win, not Gallick.

Beautiful change over and scramble to stop the legs at 9:23. On a serious note great point Cali how can Joe Flo a regular old wrestling fan from Mizz be a better commentator than those guys on TV.

SCARY!

I'd say style was less of a factor here than conditioning.

That was garbage how he stalled out nearly the entire match, riding and backing up for about a total of 3 minutes. This kind of wrestling needs to be put down by a stronger shooter and more aggressive oponent, if Leclere would have just wrestled like he was down by 3 in the last round the whole match he would have brought the necessary intensity to put Gallick away. Gallick needed to take more breaks to catch his breath imo. shows his true colors..

oh milanta 3 years ago

all that hard work lost because he went to the hip

Joe. One of the best broadcast / anouncments for a wrestling match. You were into the match and covered all angles great. Thank you JOEFLO for being there. Gives us out in Cali a chance to view some big time iowa wrestling.

I am from iowa but am a nebraska fan and this was a horribly refed match... there needed to be stalling called as early as the end of the second and there need to be at least 3 stalling calls (shouldnt of even gone into ot)... bs call at the end no control!!!

twilly 3 years ago

on tv, they said Gallick had a thigh injury. It looked to me like he was hurting. I thought the ref called two points too early in both the 133 and 141, so I guess it evened it self out.

sandy cheeks 3 years ago

Wat the hell was gallick doing on top? and none of you like the iowa style, but do you people notice how everyone appears to be hurt when they wrestle iowa. umm.... thats a mystery!!!

only person with a brain 3 years ago

Obviously... this iowa style must be working..... gallick was satisfied with only getting the lead with 2 doubles and then stalling out for a win. that kinda style wont hold up for the rest of the year and none wins nationals titles that way. thats why gallick hasnt one a natioal title yet. but leclere wrestled tough and needed to start the match that way and hey leclere is still up 2-1 against gallick.

Nick Gallick, N.G. = NO GUTS

conspiracy 3 years ago

i think nick had set it up like that to make dan think he was more tired then he was. look at him, not even tired walking off the mat.

mtm 3 years ago

hell of a finish

dood 3 years ago

gallick was definitely gassing at the end there and was using his injury to cover it up.
I hate the Iowa style. They gas themselves out doing nothing. They also open themselves a lot to shots and throws. I would expend my energy trying to score points. Otherwise, you are just wasting your energy.

wvalum 3 years ago

I am not a fan of either team. It was an exciting match but gallick was stalling for much of it.

aaron 3 years ago

congrats Nick you managed to beat our third string

SOOOOO sick of the"iowa style" of push push push, without a shot, let me stomp on the mat, yell at the ref and cry until i get what i want. Oh and i brought 2000 of my closest friends to back me up.
But Gallick was stalling lol.
