The Flonationals Open is being held March 26, 27, and 28th. Day 1 will be held at Kent State and Day 2 and 3 will be held a couple miles away at Walsh Jesuit. Top 32 seeds will start wrestling day 2 and 3. Every wrestler not seeded starts day 1 and has to wrestle through to Day 2.

I have been in talk with Joe and Martin, and MHSAA has given the go to FLoNationals. Martin is sending me the email that came directly from our Association Director, Mark Uyl. No kids will jeopardize thier eligibility in Michigan if they attend FloNationals.

To bad some state travel rules restrict them from participating in most of these major events thus limiting their chances greatly of getting of the seeding invites. I hope flo has the forsight to look closely at some of those states to and see which kids deserve to be part of the top 32 as well.

the taped skipped when he mentionied kent state. what was up with that. was there something edited we werent suppose to know about. im confused with this whole deal. golden ticket what is this charlie and the chocolate factory. lol martin is actually going to a tournament now what happened to his other emmisaries. martin sounded like tony robbins lol

The MHSAA can keep kids out of the majors, but they can't keep kids out of flonationals. They have no jurisdiction after the High School season is over. A kid can wrestle wherever they want in March

That is very positive for the growth of Michigan high school sports and protects the integrity and national exposure of their kids, I guess!

this is an offseason tournament am i right? how do mhsaa rules apply to your guys in the offseason? unless your season is much longer...

Won't be any Michigan guys at FloNationals. We can't compete at any of the 6 majors, and the MHSAA won't allow our wrestlers to go to anything with the name Nationals.
