How did he get hired? He's a 4X qualifier and 2X AA. Was 2-2 in his career against Varner. I think he knows a thing or two about wrestling. Lots of collegiate wrestlers get coaching jobs right out of college. Some of them are volunteer because they are still training for other things and cannot put full effort into coaching. He seems pretty well spoken and took classes such as the sports psychology to help himself compete/coach. That's probably why he was hired. And training under the head coach for two years doesn't hurt.

He more than likely got hired because Charles knew him. It is easier to pull someone into your program when you have trained them as an athlete.

Great opportunity for this young man. However, with Div. I coaching jobs so far and few between how did he get hired? Good luck to him.

so when joeflo says take care at the end... does he jump outta the car and leave haha

Raymond Jordan is a great success story. From what I've heard of the struggles he went through growing up, it's exciting to see someone like him succeeding in a sport that has given so to him.
I look for him to have some success on the senior circuit. Herbert is on a whole other level and Hasseman is moving to 96kg (for now), but I know Raymond can hang with guys like Bertolino and Luedke
