SPG and Blair will have a chance to prove East Coast is best if they go up to wrestle Apple Valley in MN this year. My gut feeling is they may have a long a quiet ride home...

I doubt that Hunter beats these other top 125lbers.Especially Logan!

I think that Hunter Stieber could have beat all these kids, Ohio by far has the best lower weights in fact Monroeville and SPG's lower weights would have cleaned house

didnt frank cagnina from nj knock the daylights out of him? ny is a fake. the wrestling there is completely inferior to nj. if you want tough "east coast" wrestling, look at nj, not ny

Actually Zeb. Wikipedia is awesome and even professors from prestige universities encourage students to visit Wikipedia in order to find extremely useful and legitimate sources. Though some information may be false, the sources are great and not everyone that visits the website is a "moron."

You guys are a little over the top. Kelliher is a very good wrestler. He has already lost to Dujulius this year, 2-1, 1-0?? Something like that. When you get a whole bunch of top guys wrestling against each other its just one move here, one call here, and the outcome is different.

Kelliher would have to spring an upset against the Carter, Stieber, Port, Dijulis, but I wouldnt rule it out. It happens all the time in wrestling. Kelliher is top 12 in my opinion.

First of all you say "Once again, a solid Midwest boy knocks the spit out of an over-rated East Coast boy". I assure you that this does not happen often. The east coast consistently outwrestles the midwest in the real NHSCA senior national tournament. And no offense to Rodrigues he hasn't even won a New York state title yet. You want to say Kelliher beat a "protigy" he should wrestle Arujua. And that would get ugly quick.

A bloodbath??? You must not watch much UFC! There's nuthin even for BJ Penn to lick up. But I admit the NY kid got rocked. But ease up on the coaches criticisms- did you drag a kid to a faraway tournament last weekend? Props to all that were there- specially the coaches

Are you serious? That was one of the worst officiating jobs I have personally ever seen. The backs at the end of the first was bad, the stall call was bad but above all the 8 back points that were only three. He never let go of the turk, how do you do that in the national finals. Unbelievable!
As far as the calls on the turk are concerned, that is the way they have been called recently in both high school and colligiate competition. when either a straight leg-in turk or a step-through turk has been used, the refs have awarded the points when the upper body is turned back down whether the leg is free or not. and as im sure we all know, once the points have been awarded it is now considered a new hold.

they should do this tourney NOT on the same weekend as virginia beach

none of them are the real nationals because not all the top wrestlers in the country usually don't go to these tournaments. If you made this part of the high school season then this would be eliminated.

to #4, I can agree with you with most of that except for the "national finals" part because this is flonationals not NATIONALS. i was in va beach for the real nationals and it was so much tougher competition then this

just because the bottom man is gettin the shiz rode out of him doesnt mean its stalling. . this ref was not so good

Terrible Terrible reffing...he doesn't release the leg, so the count should NOT restart.
