South cackalack Allstar Weekend - SC vs GA Dual

This past weekend at the USA State Tournament (May 16, 2009) a wrestler informed me that someone had been posting comments on this website under my name. First of all, I would like to say that I may be a y wrestler out on the mat, but would never disrespect another wrestler or the sport in that way. I believe that anyone that has enough guts to walk out on the mat deserves respect. Obviously the person that wrote that disrespectful comment was just trying to get things stirred up and does not have enough guts to put their real name. Secondly, I am in the IB Program (International Baccalaureate) at South Pointe High School and I DO know how to spell and write complete sentences unlike the person who was pretending to be me

eddy george wrestled all year with a torn ligaments in his shoulder and right knee and still finished 2nd in state as a jr. next year this kid will be unstoppable, probably 4a most valuable wrestler,,,,

He hurt hit shoulder, of course he can walk fine. There is no point in talking on a message board, anyone that does is never somone who is any good.

i remember when u wrestled us will james hahah it was a joke u wouldnt wrestle cause u were scared to lose and your dad even ran out of the stands to make sure u didnt

i think people would respect u more if u just took the lose. only thing that should hurt is your butthole from getting raped by jake. and stuff i dont know about maybe u dont know how one of your team members were talkin about u at the all star match sayin u were a and couldnt handle losing cause thats all u have goin for u

It's good to see dual meets like this. Having grown up and competed in Ohio (and now live and coach in Iowa) I've seen what it is like to have an entire community support wrestling. I feel that is what a dual like this will do for wrestling in the south. When there is state pride on the line, people care. Hopefully one day we will see wrestling programs re-established at SEC schools and other southern universities like they exist in the midwest. It will only help the sport for the south to continue to get stronger in wrestling. Great job to both squads.

I am not really sure what has been said, but Brandon you wrestled a great match. Team GA won and we here in SC see that the bar has been raised. We will continue to work hard and raise our skill level in hopes of competing better next year. Just because we lost doesn't mean that we have inferior wrestlers. The level of wrestling in the south has steadily improved over the past five years. Our goal is obviously to be able to compete with states like Ohio and Pennsylvania one day. The GA vs. SC match was a great idea, and I hope we can continue the exhibition in the future.

Wait wando sucked this year pretty sure they had four should have been five state qualifiers and got to the third round in the playoff knocking off a top 5 seed..."SC" where were you?

I apologize for the person that used my name to make any disrespectful comments. I do not have an actual account on here, so anyone can sign my name. So again my greatest apologies to whoever is not mature enough to show respect for people they do not know, and SC Wrestler how are you going to talk trash about the GA team, but yet go and bash SC teams too. Wando might not have done great, but oh well they had a bad year. Let it go.
