yeah cant wait to see what spjut does in college! i expect great things. Love watching him wrestle he never gives up and is never scared of anyone.

good match!! just one more second of fighting off your back and you might have turn the tide. over all great match!!!

erik was winnig the match, when he got hurt. he tried to finish the match but could barely walk. the outcome would have been very different if he had not got hurt. i saw him last week he is in a cast for six weeks!

No excuses for Erik getting pinned in the first round at HS Nationals, because I know Erik himself, uses none. Erik did get hurt in that match very badly and I do believe there would have been a different outcome if he had not got hurt. I will not talk about the severity of the injury, but everyone is hoping Erik will not have to have surgery.
I do believe without that injury, Erik would have been the national champ at 130. Taking nothing away from the other kids that placed, I do believe Erik has reached another level this year. I'm very excited to see how high Erik can go in his future at Virginia Tech and in the International scene.

Considering Spjut couldn't make it out of the 1st round at nationals..... I would bet on Grajeles.

obviously you have no idea what you are talking about when you say erik isnt just going to start beating national champions. In order to win reno he had to beat luke goettl and louis trujillo who are both national champions. and as far as losing to the katy taylor kid, having to stop wrestling because of an injury isnt really losing to someone.

I can tell he really improved from his stance, not. And im pretty sure i stated why i quit, and i like my school and im not gonna switch schools just to wrestle. But thanks for calling me a stud it was a nice compliment!

Is this a joke how is Ryan Klein in the finals i quit wrestling this past year because i didnt see eye to eye with our new coach on virtually anything last year and refused to put up with him my senior year, but im curious how 130 got so weak because i majored Ryan my sopre year, and stuck him last year, and no neither one were flukes because i handled him around easily each time im just curious where the other decent wrestlers went that i know of could have been there over him, sorry if it seems like im taking credit away from Ryan...
