your right he is an incredible athelete! A CALI athelete. This is what california wrestling fans wanted! Grubbs to come back to cali! He did that and answered the call and won a cali state title againts a HUGE rival in cali. He had unfinished buisness in california and we were EXCITED he came back to claim what what his and not settle for an EASY title and crappy tx.

Ok to settle this debate about Texas wrestling sucking, I'll put it like this. In Texas, football is a religion, wrestling does not receive a fraction of the attention that it does in other states. The place where it receives the most is at Canyon Randall with Coach Carino. So stop bickering about the difference in the level of competition. Yes Cali and most North-Eastern states have a lot more competition in wrestling because it is more widely practiced and enjoyed. But still, there is a high level of competition in Texas. There is only 1 state champion in each weight class. But medals are awarded for places 1st-6th. I wrestled with Grubbs (same team) last year when he was in Texas and won state, and he is a phenomenal athlete and wrestler. The funny thing is that Grubbs had already beat Martinez twice before they wrestled at state, once at the Randall duals and also at regionals, both with the same results.

allen high school was good . not good enough but all you fags talking on sultana can jump off a cliff sultana was the in cali 27-0, cif div.1dual champs, cif ind. champs, and masters champs . so we choked at state . who cares lets see how long it takes for another team to do what we did.

texaes has like 5 state champs in each weight class. CA only has 1 state champ per weight. Texas is for P U S S I E S!!!!!!!

it doesn't matter if he LOOKS small for 119. just because someone is bigger than you it doesn't mean there better. u still have to be TECHNICALLY a good wrestler. very good wrestler. being big for a weight class and cutting weight means NOTHING!!

texas has never been a power house in wrestling, reason grubbs left cali because he knew texas would be a cake walk, he couldnt beat the best in cali, stick to football texans, our state champs would destroy your 10 division state champs any day.
