While hanging out around St. Louis a couple days before the 2009 NCAA Championships we ran into Jordan Burroughs after he got in a workout. He gives us his thoughts on the tough 157 weight class and how he has managed to stay unbeaten going into the big show.

would like to see a burroughs v caldwell matchup, been watching both guys since hs. burroughs bloomed a little later than darrion but to me is more solid and basic in his style. darrion is a straight freek with his. both kids are extremely tough and tenacious. it almost happened last year in the ncaa's but they both lost in the semis. it would be a great matchup, ps. both of these kids are way too physical for metcalf now. he better stay at 49 next year. |

really guys come on now poeta is good and so is gillispie but I mean Burroughs is 30-0 for a reason so in my book he is the front runner but needless to say no matter what happens the semis in this weight class will be action packed i mean whenever u can maybe have a repeat of the national championship from last years match in the semis is saying something. |

I agree with A.C., but Jordan Leen has been wrestling great, and could beat Poeta. |
