Fred...A friend of mine sent me this link...nice job with the interview and a good representation of our mindset...mentoring is the key and you're right, after 20+ years, it does wear you out!

Refman,

You had mention mentoring HS officials. How does one receive instruction to go on to the college level? Are there mentors at this level also?

How can he say that coaches don't understand how to get or avoid a stalling call?

Good interview, glad to see Flo giving some camera time and respect to the refs. They don't get enough respect considering how difficult their job is.
