Whats the controversy?

seems to me should have gotten the point at 6:40. It seemed to me that Carr wasn't as aggressive as I had seen in some of his other matches.

I don't know, do not see why this was so controversial ? Very close match Carr I think just had to much respect for him. If I remember Carr beat him pretty bad the next year, like Shanks said. Guru nice find, But if you were looking for this match for 20 years, you need to get out of your house more

I thought the 2 pts were defensible... Carr might have slipped, but the Korean also did a step-over. Not sure what the rules were back then but under today's rules, 2 pts Korea sems reasonable.

The no takedown call for Carr was crap.

Nice you found it. Thanks Coach Vitagliano.

I had a pair, they were horrible shoes. Plus they were expensive. Asics owes, i bought them because my hero Nate Carr a;ways wore them.

Definitely a HOMEJOB.

TERRIBLE GUTT Wrench! bad LOCK. Cost him the match. I havent seen many on USA Team with good Par terre. If and When it comes back look out bc the majority of our guys struggle there and it will cost you. Havent seen many unstoppable Gutts in a While.

The only iffy thing was... 2 years ago

The out of bounds flurry should have been 1. I thought the slip was a legit 2 for the South Korean because he held him momentarily before Carr bellied out. I think it should have been 3-3 at the end of regulation. I didn't see tons and tons of biased calls. Just my opinion

The sweet acrobatics at the end makes the video.

If my memory is correct, i think Nate desstoyed this guy the next year at the goodwill games. Throwing the guy for 5 like a rag doll. Wasnt even close.

He may have got robbed but on a personal note. I don't think anyone was beating Fadzaev.
