I think its a good call. I would like to hear from the ref- particularly about the earlier pot-dang call in the 2on1. It looked like maybe Dake had went to a key lock at a couple points, and since it is illegal to throw from there, what else are you doing with it? A couple kicks at the feet is not enough- if you have a dominate position such as a control tie it is on you to create action with it, not just hope for a mistake from it.Also interesting- thats a tie match in college- I think this is a good example of how riding time actually creates action. If the ride clock is running Dake works harder to get off in the second half of the second period, and either gives up a turn- or likely sees a much more aggressive Nevi who is down by 3.
