Dsl is now outdated you should up grade to cable
Well thats just not an option. I can watch vids on other sites just fine.

I love the info on this site. I just get sick of waiting for the thing to load. I end up giving up.

Seriously, Flowrestling has to do something about how long it takes to download a video. A 5 min clip takes 20 minutes to load, either that or you have to watch it all choppy. 5 seconds then pause. I have DSL and it is frustrating as heck!

We've been using this successfully as cradle defense as well.

Just tried the technique out today, and I would like to follow up on my last post. It works, even if the arm slips out!

I was stuck underneath with my left hand on the guy's right leg. As he spun, I grabbed the left leg with my left arm, then proceeded to execute this move. It worked brilliantly, even though he freed his wrist as I went to flip over him.
Thank you Mike Eierman!!

What happens when the opponent tries to crossface instead of just leaving his arm there to be grabbed by the guy as he spins? What happens in the case of an elbow-block?

This technique demonstration assumes that the top man has no idea what hand control means. If the top guy were to put in a nice crossface across the nose, or do an elbow block and hand control (control the area between the elbow and hip on the side being spun on/ridden), then this technique would be much less effective I am sure.
Oh, well, if I get the chance I'll test it out tomorrow and see if it works. Who knows, it just might, with some luck.

TJ Hill and Mike Eierman have very similar technique. I went to a couple of clinics Mike had with TJ Hill. The best technique i have ever got for my money. Where is TJ now? Would love to attend another clinic?
He's coming back to Brickhouse in Lowell, Ma. Don't know how close you are but he does give a great clinic

good stuff, this move can be used for BJJ and submission wrestling too, lots of scrambles like that happen on the mats from those positions...

i like to see these coaches who have a passion for the sport passing on knowledge, thanks for this
lots of different personalities and coaching styles, it's good to get a different outlook on things, that's one of the things that makes wrestling so great

Great stuff. I am sooooo thankful my son gets this technique from Mike on a regular basis. I can say that I know his technique works because I have seen my son hit these moves in these types of situations. They have "OPTIONS"! Thanks Mike!!!!
