Doesn't Jake Herbert do a similar high double leg takedown?

A little late in the game, but it's "Stephen Neal," not "Stephan Neal." Nice try though.... He was a baaaad man though.

Outside of wrestling, Josh Koscheck is pretty successful with that in the UFC, and Georges St Pierre has a bent over double, too.

dude won NCAAs, beat Brock Lesnar, Hodge trophy, US Open, Pan-Ams, Worlds, and FILA wrestler of the world for 1999. and he plays for the New England Patriots. so he's legit.
That's pretty cool you're still checking in on the wrestling family Stephan.

sn
-World champion
-Won some titles in college.

3-2 means he always wins 3-2... boring. But, you are correct he would be a national champion and deservingly so. My point was 3-2 does not promote the sport of wrestling.

WTF!!!!!! 4 years ago

what kind of website is this

...hell, you can hear the beauty when the guy yelps upon penetration.

Boring???? 4 years ago

He may win a national championship but, he is the most boring wrestler in the ncaa to watch. 3-2!
If he wins a national championship but is boring, he still wins a national championship, and thats one more national championship that you have, good one, your an idiot. And what the heck does 3-2 mean?

ppl hatin on the takedown yet you will see it nationals and work.....hmmmmmm

Heard it called the black eye double. Always liked that name for it.

There is a good point here on the set-up I think. He is "forcing him inside" for the set-up. This is noteworthy.

STUMP MOVE 4 years ago

Attention, only short people with tree trunk legs are sucessful with this technique.

IRONWILL 4 years ago

I called it a Double leg Tackle, some call it a Blast Double. I used a very similar version in college with great success and have taught the move to many high school wrestlers for the past 18 years. Biggest problem is staying on the mat if you hit it right!

Then watch a different one.

Seriously?? 4 years ago

Nobody said that it doesnt work....a cement job works too...but I don't want technique tuesday on a cement job...

Reid Worley 4 years ago

Too bad nobody told Nick that it wouldn't work. 3rd in the nation pretty much speaks for itself.

seriously, you're a knucklehead if you can't see the beauty...hell, you can hear the beauty when the guy yelps upon penetration.

the point is that the set-up makes the finish a breeze
Angry Fish?! Is that Captain Bedhead, Gumby's Apostle, The Strange One?
