In Colorado you can not be 19 before September1 your senior year. If you turn 19 after september 1 you can still wrestle but not before! Alot of these kids dont hit puberty and complain about not being bug enough is because they wont eat. You cant cut weight your whole life and then complain that you are not big enough to wrestle in highschool. They also complain about going to a tournament and only having one or two kids in there bracket. Here a clue eat some food and let your body grow if you lose a match the sun is still going to come up. How many DI schools are looking at these 103llb seniors |

Nathan and Jared -- congratulations, it was a well fought battle. For Jared, I see you are 14 years old (according to your comment) and in the sixth grade. That means 15 yrs old in 7th and 16 yrs old in 8th. I believe according to OHSAA rules you cannot compete as a 16-year-old while in the 8th grade, and can only wrestle 3 years in high school because you will be too old. I sure hope you were not held back for wrestling ... anyway, good job. |

Great, another Ohio official that doesn't have a clue what stalling is. Note the sarcasm---since when is circling and/or sprawling considered stalling? Only in Ohio. These officials at the JH state and HS state level need to get together and have some sort of evaluation. They are not improving as officials when they continue to make the same bone head calls. By my book, failure for an official to improve his knowledge is stalling. They are stalling their career and tragically are a detriment to these kids. Get it together. |

Wow, there are a lot of kids who fail or get held back because of poor grades or attendance. You never hear complaints about that. What if you held your kid out of kindergarten and started him or her later because the child or the parent was not ready? Would it be an issue then? The OHSAA has age limits and none of these kids that are targeted by complaints violate those rules. What are they doing wrong? |

Maybe if eds had more hold backs they could beat little old Graham but since they cant and wont for a while it looks like they will have to just Crybaby about it as far as the match goes it was good but Cortez should have gotten another penalty point for the poke in the face if tomassello would not have caught Jered of guard in the beginning it would not have been close he is a beast anyway and both these guys should be proud. |

So what if I'm fourteen. I'm still allowed to wrestle. |
