Can somebody who is a statistic freak tell me how many of the FINALISTS are "hold backs", i.e. kids whose parents have held the kids back before attending high school in the hopes that they will garner a maturity advantage in athletics as well as academics. Thank you.

Actually the arena doesn't cost that much for them, their agreement is along the lines of paying a low price, and letting the arena collect the gate, parking, and concession revenue. The reason that I was told that the tournament could not be 2 days is because most parents don't want their kids to have to miss a day of school before wrestling season, when they are going to have to miss even more.

How about some love for David Habat of Ohio wrestling up a weight class advancing to the semifinals at 152 lbs. Impressive young man and I don't think he is a hold back, is he?

the tourney is 2-1-1 because they have so many guyz.. need to 2 days if it goes 2-2-2 and that arena cost a ton to rent out for one day....

Has Ryan Callahan at 171 even wrestled one nationally ranked wrestler yet? How does a kid, who did not even place at states wind up with the 4th overall seed? Someone please explain that.

119 one of the toughest if not the toughest weight class at the tournament.
And David Klingshiem almost walks his way through it.
