Even the russian JV guys would smoke the US wrasling team. What happened to us. Our only hope is Askren and Cormier. They're they'll members of the US wrestling team who don't train by smacking their heads off cement walls.

84kg final was Ketoev - Urishev. Sajidov lost to Tavgazov in 1/4. (They had a 5 pt throw , by the way). Urishev had a serious injury and didnt wrestle in final match. So Ketoev won the 84 kg final.

You guys need to let the full video down load. Then play. It makes a HUGE difference. Just hit pause and wait a minute or 2.

all of these videos are pretty hard to watch bc they are so choppy

You can only do the best you can with the resources you have. The internet in Russia is slow and scarce. We will put up a ton of matches ASAP. Plus Joe had to dodge fights at all times- even at 3 am and eat tons of chocolate for breakfast!!!

Read Joe's blog posts he said that the internet there is really slow and when he finds fast internet he can only use it in 30 minute intervals.

how is it that one man went all the way to russia to document a tournament and all he was able to timely produce are 3 videos?

Craig   June 5, 2008 at 9:42am
Go job Joe...really enjoyed seeing the way Russians celebrate at their tournaments...a national pasttime. It's an amazing stage the wrestlers use. The respect for the sport is obvious. Any more to watch?
