Alright guys, I just got up from a nap. Zeb is still out like a bear. We landed in Moscow today and got picked up by my friend Tigran. If you remember I met him in St Petersburg last year on the last day of Russian Nationals. Tigran is great. He has provided us with a nice flat and has been very accomodating. He also got us some train tickets to Kazan where the tounrnament will be held. Tigran is very enthusiastic and knows everything about freestyle wrestling. Did you ever notice how a wrestler’s personality dictates his wrestling style? There is a clear link between behavioral disposition and sports performance. The Brand’s brothers – unmatched intensity; Ben Askren - funky and individualistic; Scott Moore – fun, aggressive, and a risk taker. I never watched J Robinson wrestle but I can imagine what kind of style he had as a competitor-innovative and tough. This is the one thing most of us do too much of... Most of our time and energy is spent thinking about doing something...rather than doing it! Thinking about doing something and doing something yields entirely different results. Thinking is way overrated. Steps In the Right Direction

Everyone talks about wrestling and how to improve it. Everyone has their two cents. Wether it is rules, promotion or the system, everybody has an opinion. One thing really rings true...we need to support our wrestlers financially. I have to say that Mike Novogratz and Dave Barry are trying to create that support structure. They have created a fund that directly goes to our wrestlers. Everyone agrees that our wrestlers shouldnt be monieless. Everybody agrees that if they were supported more financially we may be able to retain more of them. This is our chance to do what is right.… more »
