Hello from the Village!

The Competition just finished. Clarissa Chun Lost in the BRONZE MEDAL Match to Merlini (UKR)

I thought Clarissa wrestle a great tournament but those few mental lapses cost us a medal. Marcie simply wasn't on today. I feel for these two athletes because I know the have put in a lot of work, when they do that you want to see them leave with rewards.

The Final results today are as follows:

SILVER - Icho (JPN)
BRONZE - Stadnyk (AZE)
BRONZE - Merlini (UKR)

55 KG
GOLD - Yoshida (JPN)
SILVER - Li (CHN)
BRONZE - Verbeek (CAN)
BRONZE - Renteria (COL)

Tomorrow - we begin at 9:30 am w/ 63 kg & 72 kg

Randi Miller will have Egypt first round. Randi will have to win 4 matches to get to the finals.

Ali Bernard will have Nigeria first round and will have to win 3 matches to get to the finals.

Keep Your Heads Up - We need your positive energy tomorrow. We still have a lot of wrestling ahead of us tomorrow.
