Fundraising...Success
(Please forgive all of my gramatical errors as I can't seem to get spell check to work.) Well this will be my first blog. I am hoping to get some fresh new ideas in the realm of fundraising at the high school level. I will list a few of the things we have done and some things that have been successful for our program. In the past three years Brick Memorial Wrestling has been able to purchase two new mats, re-condition one(See Pov's Warehouse and Tina Povalac @Resilite) and completely reconstruct our Wall of Fame, and update alot of our training tools......here a few things we have done in the past....
- Worked at "Great Adventure" as a team
- Sold pies before the Thanksgiving Holiday
- Hosted two in season tournaments. The Mustang Classic and The ZOO.
- Hosted several out of season tournaments.
- Worked the scoring table at grappling tournaments
- Sold food at all home meets
- Sold Brick Memorial Wrestling gear
- Sponsorship T-Shirt
The sponsorhip T-shirt has been a great idea for us. We solicit local vendors and place their company name or logo on t-shirt. It is kind of like Nascar. It has worked out pretty well for us so far.
