A few for my thoughts for you before I start my blog

-Women in the olympic have great legs

-Sometimes you wil be walking around Beijing and it will just start stinking for no good reason

-Taxis are so cheap, I dont think I have paid more than four american dollars for a ride anywhere

-The chinese Language is very tough to read and speak

Ok so today we went to the great wall and it is just mind boggling just to think of the time and effort put into that wall. It was very scenic but thegreat that view wasnt that great because it was so overcast it wasnt like at the grand canyon or in the rocky mountains where you can see forever. Today was also y last two a day, now it is just coasting into the olympics, I am very ready to compete. the day before former president Bush was supposed to come into practice but he got sick and just waved at us from the window. Tonight I got to go to my first olympic event I went to table tennis. It was very popular wth the Asian crowd. It is really interesting to see how many olympic events that are obscure to the American public from handball to badmiton to speed walkng to water polo it just seems that the American contingent doesn't even try to win these events. And what is going on with the Chinese lifters they are winning every weight and breaking world records. Seems fishy to me. Not much else exciting going on here I am just getting ready for bed. Have a good day

Ben

Um...hello? Both the USA's men's and women's water polo teams earned a medal. Downgrading your country's efforts is not fair to the athletes working their butts off for that gold medal. Surely you don't think you're the only athlete working hard in your respective sport, right? Also, given the results of the past couple days, I can assume that the USA men's freestyle wrestling team doesn't try to win any of the weight classes except the 55 kg weight class. Both you and I know that's not true, right?

You will win the gold and China will put your picture on the Great Wall for generations to see. Little kids in China will be wearing fros for the next 1000 years!

I love reading your blog, but I do have to correct you on the H2O polo part. The American men are 2-0 in pool play thus far. They are a very strong team and have a good chance to bring home a medal.

Knock the snot out of the competition. I was chatting to one of my wrestlers and he was telling me that he would like to meet Tom Cruise and I told him I'd rather meet Ben Askren and he said, WHO? Understand he's a freshman and has yet to really get to know what wrestling is about...so I said Tom is just an actor that makes tons of money but Ben Askren is a Wrestling Phenom with real substance and relative to what he can aspire to be. I showed him your picture on FLOwrestling and he at least knows you're the dude with the fro...so now he's letting his grow out and is looking forward to hearing that you knocked the snot out of the competition. USA!!!!!!! Have a safe day:)
