I am getting exctied because I finally get to compete really soon. In less than two weeks I get to go wrestle in teh Sunkist Open, then the week after will be the Clansmen invite in Vancouver. Then staying at the Olympic training center for a week. Then the next weekend is the NYAC. Lots of matches in a short amount of time, but I finally get to try out everything I have been working on since I started wrestling freestyle again and see if it is going to work. I often hear that my style of wrestling will not work in freestyle. Well, Duh. What I did in folkstyle I did was becasue it was what worked best for me in folkstyle. Now that I am wrestling freestyle I have changed up my game plan and style. It took quite a bit of getting used to, especially sprawling for the first time in my life, but I think it is going to be a very good change. So hopefully these events will give me a good idea about how my new style is working and where I need to go from there. So come check me out at one of these events and see a whole new style of Funk.
